    This is a very simple and amazing magnetic toy. You will need a few ferrite ring magnets, a card disk, straw, a few sketch pens and a plastic scale. Press fit a piece of stiff straw in three ring magnets. Take a stiff card circle 10-cm in diameter and draw the pattern of the fan. Cut all eight blades along the pink lines and fold them at 90-degrees along the blue lines. This will make a very efficient fan. Take a plastic scale – stick three magnets below and three on top. The magnets will automatically stick to one another. Now glue the fan on top of the straw with three magnets. Stick the straw magnets to the magnets on the scale. This is the full assembly. Now on placing the toy under a ceiling fan the card propeller will spin. And because of it the magnets will go round and round. The card fan will both spin and rotate. It is a very pretty sight.
